MIKE and SHARON

How did SchillingBridge Winery and Microbrewery get to be so much fun? It's because owners Sharon and Mike Schilling are fun people!

Sharon and Mike are also committed to their family, to their community, and to creating a memorable experience for every SchillingBridge visitor and customer.

They truly love what they do and it shows.

Within SchillingBridge Winery & Microbrewery are five entities that function as a whole but provide separate
services. They include:

~ The Wine Production Facility
This is where our wine is produced. The production facility houses all the equipment necessary to produce 6,000 gallons of wine. A glass wall separates the production area from the tasting room and gift shop, making this area visible to our customers at any time during business hours.

While this architectural design has been used by many microbreweries, incorporating this feature into our winery is yet another way we have set our establishment apart from other Nebraska wineries.

~ The Microbrewery
After the 1991 emergence of the Nebraska craft brewing renaissance, along with the publicity that came from the national news media in June 2007, SchillingBridge Winery & Microbrewery announced that a brand new "Made in Nebraska" brewing scene had arrived with the completion of our state-of-the-art 2,500 barrel microbrewery in Pawnee City, Nebraska.

In general, domestic beer sales are predominant in our corner of the world; however, Brewermaster Mike Schilling is working hard to change this trend by proudly producing micro brews with distinction. At SchillingBridge, reliability is a necessity and inconsistency is not an option. Having received calls and visitors from all 50 states with folks interested in our micro brew product line, our monthly projections continually are surpassed, fulfilling our revitalization vision by becoming Nebraska’s trendy watering hole for locals and tourists alike!

~ Tasting Area
The tasting area introduces visitors to SchillingBridge wines and microbrews. We offer five wine samples for $6.00 and a wine glass engraved with our logo for an additional $3.00. Guests have an opportunity to talk with our vintner, brewmaster, or other knowledgeable employee about the beer/wine-making process, food and wine pairing, cooking with wine, viticulture, or any related topics.

On Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00-8:00pm, we have redefined the way people eat and drink with our relaxed dining atmosphere. We’ve designed our menu with simplicity and imagination—a menu /please link with pdf of menu/ with the bold gastronomy we crave by incorporating innovative preparations to infuse SchillingBridge wine and beer in most of our menu items.

If you are visiting our winery during the daytime hours, not to worry—we have a nice selection of homemade appetizers from 1:00-5:00pm that you can enjoy with your wine and beer tastings! On Saturday night only, you can join the many satisfied guests who have indulged in our near-legendary prime rib. Call us by 6:00pm Friday for reservations as it slow-roasts overnight.

~ Gift Shop
Our gift shop offers not only exceptional items that correspond to the wine and beer industry, but a nice assortment of gift baskets for any occasion, as well as logo tee shirts and caps.

~ Banquet/Meeting Room
The banquet/meeting room at SchillingBridge Winery & Microbrewery answers the need for a facility large enough to accommodate the regions’ social and special occasion needs. We serve our clients by facilitating all their entertainment needs at a reasonable price. As parents and family members ourselves, we understand the need to create special occasions apart from our busy daily lives. As business people, we understand the importance of having access to a facility where prospective clients can be entertained and employees can be recognized. And because we are actively involved in our community, we understand the needs of public and private organizations for a place to socialize and conduct business.

So whether you're planning a business meeting or retreat, a company picnic or award ceremony, an alumni banquet or a special occasion (prom, graduation, holiday party, shower, wedding, or reception), we're ready to make it memorable. The style of the SchillingBridge Winery & Microbrewery facilities, the year-round beauty of our vineyards and surrounding countryside, and the inviting patio and its view all guarantee that our clients and their guests will come away with lasting memories of every event at SchillingBridge Winery & Microbrewery.
